Why I Started CURA Events

There are a lot of reasons to start a business.
For me, it wasn’t about scaling fast or chasing headlines. It was about helping startups and solution providers grow.
Why I started CURA Events was because I saw an opportunity in how growing companies approach conference sponsorships and events. Too often, I watched incredible solution providers invest time, money, and energy into events without a clear strategy or plan for ROI. They were showing up, but not getting the full value.
Before CURA, I spent five years as an events manager at a fast-growing tech company. I wore every hat - building strategy, managing logistics, capturing leads, and analyzing ROI. I sat on countless calls with conference organizers and negotiated sponsorship costs and opportunities. Once an event was confirmed, we hit the ground running: coordinating speaker prep, managing meeting requests, tracking deadlines, and handling everything from booth shipments to dinner RSVPs.
I learned what works, what doesn’t, and what really moves the needle.
More importantly, I saw the difference between simply attending an event and showing up with purpose. And I knew lean teams, especially those without dedicated event support needed help bridging that gap.
CURA means “care” or “nurture” in Latin. That’s exactly what we bring to every client relationship.
We don’t just book booths or manage logistics. We become part of your team. We understand your goals, your message, your audience - and we turn every event or sponsorship into an opportunity to grow your business.
Because when our clients win, we win.
Since launching CURA in early 2024, everything has grown through referrals. Clients recommend us. Partners bring us in. We haven’t had to shout, we’ve simply let our work speak for itself.
And we’re just getting started.
CURA exists to make other businesses more successful. That’s our purpose and our passion. As we grow, we’ll keep supporting startups and solution providers who want to do more than just show up. They want to leave a bold, strategic, high-impact impression.
If that’s you, we’re ready. Let’s build something powerful together.
